Celebrate the holidays with special festive menus and events at the Ayana Resort in Bali. Throughout December the resort’s restaurants will be offering afternoon tea, cooking classes, holiday set dinners with live entertainment, and even breakfast with Santa Claus.
Festivities start on December 11 with a tree lighting ceremony with complimentary canapés and drinks. There is no charge for this event, but guests are asked to donate a Christmas gift to a local orphanage.
The Damar Terrace restaurant will be hosting a Christmas-themed afternoon tea daily from December 6 until January 6. The price is IDR160,000 (USD18) and includes a buffet of finger sandwiches, scones, fruit tarts, Christmas cookies, and other goodies accompanied by coffee or tea. On December 18 the tea will be attended by Santa Claus with special gifts and story-telling for children. December 19 is “Breakfast with Santa” and the price of IDR200,000 (USD23) includes buffet breakfast, entertainment, and a Christmas cookie baking workshop for children.
Christmas Eve set dinners are offered by 2 of the resort’s fine-dining restaurants. A 5-course meal of Italian cuisine like lobster ravioli and turkey roulade costs IDR700,000 (USD77) at the Sami Sami Restaurant. Dava Restaurant specializes in seafood and their 5-course dinner costs IDR1,000,000 (USD110) and includes poached lobster, Australian scallops, and snow fish fillet with truffle mashed potatoes. Both restaurants also offer a children’s menu for IDR250,000 (USD28). A private dining experience is available for IDR2,000,000 (USD220) per couple including dinner and champagne.
