Celebrate the holiday season with special Christmas and New Years dining events at the Ayana Resort in Bali. Now through January 6, 2012, the resort’s restaurants will be offering afternoon tea, breakfast with Santa, live entertainment, appearances by guest chefs, and special set menus for Christmas and New Year’s Eve. Prices start from IDR160,000 (USD17.50) per person.
From December 16, 2011 – January 6, 2011, the Damar Terrace Café will offer a special Christmas-themed afternoon tea. Enjoy finger sandwiches, scones, festive cakes and cookies, and coffee or tea for IDR160,000 (USD17.50) per person.
On December 18, 2011, from 9am – 11am the resort will offer a special breakfast with Santa Claus. In addition to the sumptuous buffet spread there will be cookie decorating, festive games, and water slides. This event costs IDR100,000 (USD11) for children and IDR200,000 (USD22) for adults.
On December 24, 2011, both Sami Sami and Dava restaurants will offer special Christmas Eve set menus. Enjoy multi-course meals featuring gourmet dishes like terrine of turkey and foie gras or marinated swordfish. Prices start from IDR250,000 (USD27.50) for children and IDR750,000 (USD80) for adults. Private dining with champagne and lobster is also available.
On December 26 and 29 and January 2 and 5 there will be a Balinese buffet dinner and traditional “kecak” dance performance. This even costs IDR350,000 (USD38) for children and IDR800,000 (USD88) for adults.
From December 27 – 20, 2011, Dava Restaurant will host Singaporean celebrity chef Justin Quek. Five-course meals start from IDR600,000 (USD66) per person.
On December 31, 2011, special New Year’s Eve meals will be offered at Dava, Sami Sami, and Kisik Seafood Grill Restaurants. Prices start from IDR250,000 (USD27.50) for children and IDR1,100,000 (USD120) for adults including a glass of sparkling wine.
