A new boutique hotel, The Lombok Lodge, has opened and to celebrate its launch, the hotel is offering one complimentary night for every two nights booked. This promotion is available from 1 October to 15 December 2010. Rates start from USD240++ per night in an Oceanview Lodge Suite, which works out to USD160++ per night with the complimentary third night. Included with the accommodation are the Lodge Services – complimentary use of mountain bikes and gym as well as pre-dinner cocktails.
The Belgian-owned hotel, with just seven suites, is located on a private beach in Medana Bay in the north of Lombok. Each suite has a sitting area as part of the bedroom and is furnished with a DVD player, an iPod and a Bose Sounddeck. A private wooden terrace with lounge chairs overlooks the ocean and Mount Rinjani.
Some activities available to guests are spa treatments at the Lodge Frangipani Spa, tour of the Gili Islands on a private boat, three-day trek up Mount Rinjani and a round of golf at the Kosaido Golf Club.
